We were absolutely delighted to go to the preview day of the 100th Royal Horticultural Society Chelsea Flower Show today – what an experience!
And, to top off the day, we were able to see our fantastic new Nepeta grandiflora Summer Magic launched by our friends at Hardy’s Cottage Garden Plants.
Bred by Malcolm Spencer, Summer Magic is a robust, free-flowering catmint that has a very long season. It produces branching stems with wonderful lavender flowers over a very long season. It was shortlisted for the Chelsea New Plant Award, and whilst we didn’t get a prize, Summer Magic certainly got a lot of love from plantspeople, judges, journalists and the public at the show.
